Pink Apple Orchards Glamp site sits a couple of minutes walk away from the beautiful and calm North shores of Lough Allen. Set in between Corry Point and Ross Beg Glebe, we are hidden away in a very sheltered area just off the main lake. It is a wonderful location to enjoy a relaxing time while fishing. Fishing is just another reason to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day living, so why not spend a few hours on the shores of Lough Allen to experience this full filling pass time. For those that have fishing Kayaks, you can kayak out passed Deadman’s Point and pit stop at Inishmagrath Island, where you will find Herons and lots of other undisturbed wildlife, along with fish from the water!
Not only is the whole of Lough Allen on the doorstep but there are many Rivers entering Lough Allen such as The Yellow River, The River Shannon and Arigna River where many waterfalls flow into.
Leitrim is a lake land Haven, along with surrounding county’s such as Cavan. Surrounding Lakes are dotted beautifully around…Belhavel Lough, Mahanagh Lough, Ardlaugher Lough, Lough Yugan, Lough Meelagh, Lough Nagalliagh, Derryhallagn Lough and Rascunnish Lough (the last two with jetties.) are just some to mention with only a very short drive.

If you would like to head further a field to fish and see more of Lough Allen there are many very well known fishing locations.
Lough Yugan – North East Of Lough Allen. Just South of Balinagleragh. Lough Yugan is a beautiful little lake set a few metres off Lough Allen. With quiet roads surrounding, short walks are also possible in between stretching your legs while fishing!
Gubarusheen Jetty – A little further along from Balinaglera is a quaint little jetty, with parking faciilties.
Spencer Harbour – A stunning location with views all the way down Lough Allen. There are rocks to fish from and a large jetty to fish off.
Heron’s Shore (Carlough) – Lough Allen
South East Shores pf Lough Allen situated on the Dowra – Drumshanbo road. Best results knwon here are between May and June.
Barney’s Point – Lough Allen
South West Shores of Lough Allen situated on the Drumshanbo – Drumkeeran road.
Bellantra (Bellintra) – River Shannon
Follow signs for Holy Island from Drumshanbo, heading out towards Drumkeeran.
Acres Lake – Lough Allen
2 miles out of Drumshanbo towards Carrick-On-Shannon on your right, just past Black Rock.
