Workshops will be on set days throughout September/early October providing information on picking, pressing and processing the apples. We have a large annual crop within Pink Apple Orchard and varying varieties at another orchard where we have a larger variety of apples. On the day you will learn all the processes involved to produce your own apple juice and you will be able to take home 60 litres of organic juice included in the price. This can be drunk, bottled, pasteurised, frozen or made into cider. Information leaflets will be offered on both pasteurising and fermenting which can be emailed to you. You will have the opportunity to taste both the apple juice and cider from last years crop but also the apple juice you press on the day as the delicious juice begins to flow! You are welcome to bring your own clean (hand picked) apples with to add to the press if you wish. This is a fun, relaxed, informative and hands on workshop.

N.B. We ask that you bring your own (plastic) containers with you to take home your apple juice. We suggest a mix of 5 litre bottles, 20 litre containers or 20 fermentation buckets with lids.

Among Pink Apple’s Organic Orchard, we also Harvest a Crop from a Variety of Fruits.

Over the year our Orchards go through many stages of beauty throughout the Seasons. They are buzzing with life and fruitful harvests during Spring and Summer and Autumn. Not only does it provide us with its apples, but it provides a haven for wildlife; many variety of birds, butterflies, bugs, bees which all helps the pollination too.

Spring is when all is in full bloom and the buds are at their highest sensual aromatic beauty.
Summer brings them alive with their green beauty and apples forming with blue skies.
Autumn is when the apples are at their fullest and ready for picking before the frosts arrive.
Winter brings a wild, striking and dramatic feel to those rich and frosty mornings.
