Update on Pink Apple’s Orchard…Our Luxury Campsite

It’s first of May 2013…The sun is shining over Pink Apple Orchard….

The Apple trees are beginning to look more and more fruitful with their buds now beginning to show….as are all the other fruit trees and bushes. The willow fencing is now also taking to the sunshine and all the April showers we had!

All the lattice work has taken some time for the three Celtic Yurts but they are now all cut to size, planed, trimmed, drilled, stained and the knots continue…..to create the internal lattice work!!!

The first door frame and door are made for the first Yurt – ‘Weaving Willow’…they just need some artistic final touches before photographs are taken….and work on the second door has begun.

April Sunrise over Lough Allen….Leitrim

What a gorgeous morning…..The sun is just rising…It’s 6.22 am. I have been walking round our Pink Apple Orchard listening to the birds…So loud at this time! Now the sun begins to shine down brightening the dew across the ground. .

This weekend brings new life, new buds, and new doors for our Yurts!!! We are hoping to complete the first door and frame by Monday….It’s all a challenge, but we are thriving on it….

Within the garden surroundings, you can relax at your leisure either within or outside your chosen accommodation, or mingle within the willow fenced communal area where you can cook in doors in the fully equipped kitchen - The Cider House (where the production of apple juice and cider takes place in September once the crop is yielded from Pink Apple Orchard) overlooking Lough Allen and The Iron Mountains through more willow fencing windows.

Seasons bring many different attributes. In summer, you can absorb the beauty of Pink Apple Orchard as the willow fedges grow, the orchard is at its greenest and the apples are beginning to grow. In Spring, enjoy the crisp morning and the freshness of new green shoots, the delicacy of the Spring flowers and the array of birds singing at their loudest. The apple blossom peaks to its best throughout May where the fullness of floral pinks, magenta's and whites explode with beauty and the scent of blossom tickles those nose buds, all creating an insect haven.

For the children...

...Venture into the children's tree house lair, up to the watch tower or onto the shipwrecked boat! Sit within the hideout where you can play or build sandcastles within the tyre sand pit. Creativity and adventure invented at the blink of an eye! Laughter and hours of fun to be had by all ages.

While visiting us take a glamping tour of Leitrim, with us based in North Leitrim overlooking Lough Allen and The Iron Mountains, Tea Pot Lane is based is based in Far North Leitrim near the West Coast with local attractions including coastal and sea activities. Battle bridge caravan/glamp site is based in South Leitrim, in the village Leitrim itself at the South side of Lough Allen.
