Fitness Retreat

Fitness Weekend or Week Packages, Tailor Made to Suit all Levels of Fitness and To Accommodate the Individual

 

One on one personal training available, with a fully qualified health and fitness instructor. To be paid for separately to your accommodation at 15 Euro per hour.

 

You can arrange your day to suit yourself. Activities can involve any of the following:

 

 

Weight Training

Right here on sight at Pink Apple Orchard there is everything needed for an action packed, blood pumping work out.

 

Walking

Straight from Pink Apple Orchard can take you on walks into the mountains on safe terrain for walks from as little as 1 mile to 5 – 10 miles and further, depending on how far you would like to go. Taking in views of Lough Allen, The Iron Mountains – Sliabh An Larainn and many more areas of beauty to include ancient Sweat houses, waterfalls and sensational views. Routes include The Minors Way, The Dawn of Hope and The King Fisher Cycle route and non specific country roads!

 

Jogging 

Straight from Pink Apple Orchard can take you on jogs from 1 mile to many miles, with extraordinary views to inspire while you jog! Routes can be suggested to the very keen jogger.

 

Cycling

Straight from Pink Apple Orchard, there are short cycle routes for a less intensive cycle, but there is a very large scope for many miles surrounding Lough Allen to avail of the spectacular views from the mountains that sit all around this stunning setting. Area routes include The Minors Way, The Dawn of Hope and The King Fisher Cycle route.

 

Kayaking

Accessible from Pink Apple Orchard with a 5 minute stroll to one small beautiful shore line of Lough Allen. For upper body workout and tummy muscles a kayak is a great way to see the shores and Mountains surrounding Lough Allen from the water. A kayak workout can last from 1 hour to 3-4 hours.

 

Massages

Available morning or night. Begin your day relaxing and building up to your day of activities with a nice energising, battle fatigue massage. Alternatively end you day with a relaxation or soothing muscle massage. Additional Prices for Massages will be announced soon.

 

More information will be provided in terms of oils used, massages available, alternative techniques available and prices for these additional extras will be on view very soon.

BBQ and 2-3 salads with vegetables and salad from the organic garden.

Spaghetti Bolognese with an organic side salad picked from the garden. Garlic Bread

 Lasagna  with organic side salad picked from the garden. Garlic Bread.

Irish stew with freshly baked bread.

Shepherds Pie with seasonal organic vegetables from the garden.
