Celtic Yurt’s On the arrival!

Almost There! Our First Celtic Yurt – Weaving Willow, is to be erected at Pink Apple Orchard over the next few days

Work has been progressing very well over the last few days after a poorly household for two weeks its takes it’s strain!!! A bit of sunshine and with health almost back to 100%, completion of key areas has arrived. We have hit new hurdles, had more laughs and achieved so much more than we imagined in the last week… Check… – Three central beams – Main Circular support – Eighty slats – Four sections of lattice work – Celtic Door and frame – Internal sheet for walls and roof – Insulation for walls and roof – Waterproof external casing for walls and roof All work on these areas complete! Just need a base floor and a few dry days and we are there….! Watch this blog for images over the next week… Internal work will then begin and we shall continue with our second Yurt – Sunrise Sanctuary.

Within the garden surroundings, you can relax at your leisure either within or outside your chosen accommodation, or mingle within the willow fenced communal area where you can cook in doors in the fully equipped kitchen - The Cider House (where the production of apple juice and cider takes place in September once the crop is yielded from Pink Apple Orchard) overlooking Lough Allen and The Iron Mountains through more willow fencing windows.

Seasons bring many different attributes. In summer, you can absorb the beauty of Pink Apple Orchard as the willow fedges grow, the orchard is at its greenest and the apples are beginning to grow. In Spring, enjoy the crisp morning and the freshness of new green shoots, the delicacy of the Spring flowers and the array of birds singing at their loudest. The apple blossom peaks to its best throughout May where the fullness of floral pinks, magenta's and whites explode with beauty and the scent of blossom tickles those nose buds, all creating an insect haven.

For the children...

...Venture into the children's tree house lair, up to the watch tower or onto the shipwrecked boat! Sit within the hideout where you can play or build sandcastles within the tyre sand pit. Creativity and adventure invented at the blink of an eye! Laughter and hours of fun to be had by all ages.

While visiting us take a glamping tour of Leitrim, with us based in North Leitrim overlooking Lough Allen and The Iron Mountains, Tea Pot Lane is based is based in Far North Leitrim near the West Coast with local attractions including coastal and sea activities. Battle bridge caravan/glamp site is based in South Leitrim, in the village Leitrim itself at the South side of Lough Allen.
